Warroad Public Schools conducts annual drills to help us prepare in the event of an emergency. On Thursday, September 7th, students and staff will participate in an all school lockdown and full evacuation drill. Emergency drills are a proactive step ensuring the safety and security for all within the District.
September is here and the school year is starting back up with the first day of school on Tuesday and fall sports in full swing! Warroad Indian Education is having a backpack giveaway during open house on August 30th (tomorrow), from 3pm-6pm.
Warroad School Cross Country Fun Run 2023- All students in grades 3-6 are invited to run on Monday, September 11, 2023 at the Warroad Estates Golf Course. Race time is at 4pm. The run will be approximately 1/2 mile. All runners will receive ribbons. No pre-registration or fee is required. The "Fun Run" will be prior to the Warroad Invitational Cross Country Meet.
The summer is winding down and you have one last week to soak up the sun before September rolls in! Teachers are going back to school this week and students have their open house on Wednesday. The first Fall Sports matches will take place this week, and the last Warroad Market for the season is on Friday! There’s fun to be had with LEGOS, Folk School Warroad, at Marvin Home Center’s Customer Appreciation Day, and more this week in Warroad!! Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend!
We're excited to welcome students back for a new school year! Checkout a few reminders regarding drop-off and pick-up procedures. Our morning paraprofessional monitors will be ready to greet and assist students being dropped off at the ELC doors each morning.
