GOOOO WARRIORS!!

The Native American Education Program and Mrs. Kristine Anderson's Science collaboration are excited to share picture(s) from yesterday's School Forest Event.
The School Forest Snowshoe, campfire and storytelling was a huge success.
The students had a great time, enjoying the beautiful weather. Snowshoeing the trail within the School forest, led by DNR- Hannah. Enjoyed roasting hotdogs, sipping Hot coco and making S'mores. All in the great company of Mr. Donald KaKayGeesick's campfire shares.
For some students it was noted this was their first time taking in the experience of enjoying and cooking hotdogs over the fire and snowshoeing. Dry birch bark was picked off trees, to help start our fire, and some students had the opportunity to pick and cut their own sticks safely for roasting.
Students ready to get out to the School forest again and are already planning for next year !
Miigwech to Mr. Donald KaKayGeesick, Mrs. M. Marvin, Mrs. K. Andersen, DNR- Hannah, HS students, Cody, Mica & Kaylee and to all students for their smiles, laughs and creating memories.

Native American Education Program is excited to present the following programs and activities.
Warroad School Students will have the exciting opportunity to participate in the following Cultural Teachings and Traditions, over the next couple of months.
March 11- Oyate Kinipi Archery
March 31, April 1 - Indigenous Foods and Games
Friendly Reminder our "School forest Snowshoe, campfire meal and storytelling" is today.
